The girl’s parents, Nick and Yvette have to take a number of safety measures when the sisters venture outside of the house. To ensure they are not exposed to any UV light (sunlight) at all, the girls have to cover every bit of exposed skin. So they wear long sleeve clothing which is made from a special UV resistant fabric, UV protecting gloves, a protective hood over their heads with 100% UV blocking plastic to protect their faces, and a thick layer of sunblock and zinc, before leaving the house.
